History of Politics City

^.^

As the banner implies, this is the third incarnation of Politics City, a website dedicated to the discussion of politics, history, religion, all those things people get warned not to talk about...but things that I thoroughly *enjoy* talking about...

When I was coming up with a name, and a slant for this endeavor, I decided two things. The first was that I wanted the site to be welcoming to both Liberals and Conservatives, with articles and contributors from both sides, allowing for an online debate of the issues. My second decision was that I wanted the name of the site to poke fun at political correctness, while observing none of that PC garbage...

Hence the name, Politics City.

The first version of Politics City was a Blogspot account, where I spent a good deal of time. However, technical difficulties resulted in me copying all of my articles, and moving away.

The next version of Politics City was at Thoughts.com, which is a nice service, and I would recommend it to anyone, but when I bought the politicscity.com domain, moving the entire thing here became the next step.

With this version of the site, I am hoping to give people a number of venues to use to talk about today's issues. So far, we have mostly articles, with the most recent being posted to the blog, and our article archives posted in the editorial section. In the near future however, I plan on launching a podcast. Stay tuned for further developments.
